What is the time limit?

3 hours & 20 minutes for the Half Marathon. There is no time limit for the 5k and 10k (walkers welcome!)

Will there be energy gels on the course?

Yes, there will be 2 water stop stations with GU energy gels on course.

Question 3

Are dogs and strollers allowed?

Accepted Answer

Dogs are not permitted at this event.
Strollers are welcome — just be courteous of other runners.

Is there race morning registration and packet pickup?

Yes, this is reserved for out of area participants only. Packet pick-up starts at 5:45 am Race Day. Please try to pick up your packet at one of our greater Cleveland locations throughout the week.

Is there a relay shuttle?

Yes. A shuttle bus to relay zones will leave from in front of the Rock Hall around 6:45 AM. First shuttle is reserved for the second leg of relay. Third leg will be picked up following drop off of second leg.

Are live bands on course?

Yes, live bands and DJ's will be stationed on course at relay zones and prime locations for all race events.

How many water stations are on course?

The Half Marathon has 7 water stops on course including 2 gu stations. Waterstops offer both water and Gatorade.  These are spaced roughly 1.5-2 miles apart. They can be found on the course map. The 10k has 2 water stop stations at mile 1.5 and mile 4.5 The 5k has one water station at mile 1.5 (halfway).

We do not offer a bag check, you are responsible for your items at this event

Are there finish line and on-course photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there will be both finish line and on-course photos provided to you for FREE. Photos will be processed and posted the week after the race. (We try to get them up as soon as possible). Finish line photos will be posted on the results page, all other photos will be posted on our photos page.

What are your race week tips?

Pickup race packet at a packet-pickup location (Race day reserved only for out of town participants)Get your race day fit, fuel, and mind ready prior to race day!Pick out your parking location https://parking.com/cleveland/ (note lots closest to Rock Hall fill up quickly) A lot of lots/garages are in walking distance.  Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your race start, Allow additional time for parking and walking over. Be early! Set extra alarms. Wear your race bib on the front of your torso/chest (faster time reading, + reading for photos)Review your start line, 5k & Half are in front of Rock Hall but the 10k start is in front of the Science Center (next door)Review your race course prior to race day! Courses are heavily marked!Get to your start line at least 10 minutes before race start! Get ready to ROCK Enjoy the course! Be courteous of other runners on course! All the races come together on marginal, let the speedsters though! Get post race snacks and enjoy the bands at the Rock Hall Plaza post race! At 10 am you can head over to Nuevo for a post-race free beer with drink ticket on bib (21+)!  + Post race party vibes!Lastly, HAVE FUN
